Matti Pikkujämsä’s hilarious sauna patterns are long-standing favourites for the whole family! Forest Animals (Eläinten Sauna) sauna covers and pillows are ideal sauna companion. The illustrator Matti Pikkujämsä is an award-winning grafic designer. He won the Finnish Illustration State Award in 2015 and Illustrator of the year award 2019. Matti draws inspiration from the nostalgic features of the Finnish everyday life, finishing the art pieces with warm humour. Matti Pikkujämsä has been working together with Lapuan Kankurit since 2010 and many of his classic designs can be found in our collection. Please note that the sauna cover is also suitable for use as a runner!

We weave our sauna textiles in our own weaving mill in Lapua, Finland, using fully traceable raw materials: European long-staple linen and bio-organic cotton. Our unique finishing facility, located next to the weaving mill in Lapua, allows us to give these textiles a high-quality finish. This means that, with proper care, the textile will retain its shape in home washing and maintain its form wash after wash.
